Monmouth Beach Estates is a subdivision of 20 Contemporary style one and two-story homes located in the southwest section of Monmouth Beach and includes the homes on Ellis and Jackson Courts. Building began in the mid-1980s in a partnership between local builders Joe Jackson and Ellis Courte, hence the street names, and the homes range in size from just under 2500 to over 5700 square feet, according to tax records, with some having river views. Though not generally considered within walking distance of the beach, the homes in Monmouth Beach Estates are less than a mile from the Monmouth Beach Municipal Beach.
