Willowbrook is an upscale community of 110 Colonial style single family homes, located off of Swimming River Road near the Colts Neck border. The subdivision was once a horse farm, Willowbrook Farm, built in 1973 by Frank X. Weny, an owner of a construction company. The horse farm closed in 1999 and the homes were built in the early to mid 2000's. Homes range in size from over 3000 to upwards of 6000 square feet, according to tax records, have 4- 6 bedrooms, basements and a two or three car garage. The property sizes generally range from over a half acre to an acre. For commuters, the Garden State Parkway is 10- 15 minutes away, as is the Little Silver train station. Directly across the street from the entrance to Willowbrook is Colts Neck Stables, which is an operating thoroughbred training facility.
